The journey to the West was a conspiracy of heaven! After Sutra (Buddhist sacred texts) went missing for more than a decade, Heaven sent its army to search, in order not to let the Sutra once again fall into the hands of heaven, the journey to West begins again. In a way, I LOVED Journey to the West even more! It has action, suspense, romance, comedy, and most of all heart! I recommend this movie to anyone who loves the art of movies, how theyre made, why theyre made or even just to escape from the real world for 1hr and 45 min.
One of the latest MMORPGs developed in China, this is Journey to the West Online. And yes, what I love about this MMORPG is its authenticity towards the real novel. Over the years, I am sure MMO players have seen various titles with stories almost similar or blatantly copied from Journey to the West, but I assure you, this is as real as it gets. I did not actually go through the full background story for this game, but its supposedly to be after Sun Wukong (Monkey King) and gang finished their journey. How did I know? Thy have their respective Heavenly Titles under their names, which you can see in the screenshots below.

Journey to the West Online is based on one of the 4 Great Classic Novels of China literature of the same name. It tells the epic tale of Sun Wukong (Monkey King), Tripitaka, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing's journey from ancient China to Tian Zu (ancient India) to collect holy scriptures from Buddha himself.

This is where the 72 Transformations System comes in. Upon completing certain quests, players can get a Transformation Hair as a reward. It will state which classic character you can turn into, along with a certain status increment. This will only last around 20minutes though.

As you can see below, I have only 1 normal attack action (skill) now.
Skills are divided into Single Target, AoE Skill, Support Skill and Passive Skill.
Finally, I meet the master, Tripitaka.
Leveled up for the first time, but players can only add stats manually after level 30!
Before that, stats will be automatically added.
I must now choose a faction to side with. I went with the Bodhisattva (or Buddha) faction.
Finally, I am out of Flower Fruit Mountain (the starting area) and reached the mainland!
By the way, there is auto-tracing, so doing quests is much easier!

My first few mobs! There is an auto-attack function, but sadly, there is no auto-looting.Do note that there are many resources like herbs which can be gathered around every corner, but sadly I have not learn the life skills.

Sometimes, on a random basis, an Earth Deity will appear. If you chat with him, he will leave behind a Treasure Chest which will drop goodies, like the rare armor I got in the 2nd screenshot.
I used one of the Transformation Hair and turned into White Star Deity to escape.
